Decision to fly

Growing up I was lucky enough to be afforded the luxury to not only travel but to pursue my own interests. A few years back, a friend took me up in a little Cessna 172 and allowed me to experience a sense of freedom I had never felt before. While I enjoyed the feeling, I realized I probably wouldn’t enjoy flying city to city for an airline so I decided to learn to fly helicopters. I am often asked what job I want to do as a helicopter pilot and though I’ve put much thought into that question, the range of jobs in the helicopter industry is extensive and my goal is to experience as many as I can.

What am I doing now?

Currently I am working on completing an FAA Instrument Rating with Veracity Aviation in Georgetown, Texas. I am also taking classes toward a B.S. in Aviation Sciences with a minor in Business from Central Texas A&M.
